The Health Visiting Service
Our health visitors can support and advise you on:
- The health and well-being of your new baby or pre-school child
- Becoming a new family
- Emotional well-being
- Staying healthy and living a healthy lifestyle
We have a team of health visitors who work with the practice.
Health visitors are qualified nurses who have had special training in child health, health promotion and health education. Health visitors work to promote a health lifestyle for you and your family. Health visitors work closely with GP’s, midwives, Nurse Practitioners and Practice Nurses, Social workers and other local agencies to promote a healthy community for all.
